Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities in this neighbourhood.

Priority

Anti - social behaviour due to increased use of drugs, namely Spice which is a class B drug.
Large amounts of complaints in relation to the use of the drugs in and around the town centre. Complaints about users passing out in town and ambulances are frequently being called. Members of the public are witnessing individuals openly dealing in town. People are fearful of coming into town as they see it as a very intimidating place to be.

Increased high visibility foot patrols
Deal robustly with any criminal offences.
Deal with any breach of Youth Rehabilitation Orders that nominals are subject of.
Liaise closely with staff at the interchange.

Issues with youth nuisance, intimidating other members of the public passing through the Interchange.

Action taken

6 key offenders identified and all have been charged with multiple offences. Bail conditions were obtained to ensure they do not offend prior to their court appearances in May, June and July. The offenders are all youths and as such we are prevented from naming them but the court result and any sentence will be circulated.
