Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Drugs - Proactive patrols and intelligence gathering are ongoing across the estate. The beat team continues to target those who are known to be dealing and taking illegal drugs.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

A cannabis grow was recently located at an address on Knighton Fields Road West, officers were called to the area after a report was made of a possible disturbance at a property, upon arrival entry was gained and the address was found to be used to grow and cultivate cannabis. Four arrests were made at the scene, and the address has since been cleared and made safe, this will prevent a significant amount of cannabis from being dealt in the community.

    Actioned 01 June 2026

  • Priority:

We have been made aware of a number of vehicles parked across the estate which don't have relevant documents, and also e-scooters, bikes and vehicles moving dangerously and in an anti-social manner.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

We continue to engage and educate with individuals before they drive without the relevant and necessary paperwork to be safe on the road and action has been taken to those who have been found to be driving without insurance. We continue to tackle those riding illegal Bike and E-Scooters, an off-road bike was recently seized on The Fairway after officers sighted it, caught up with the rider and seized it.

    Actioned 01 June 2026

  • Priority:

We have been made aware of continued Anti-Social Behaviour in the green spaces across the Freemen beat. Officers will be visiting local schools and reconnecting with businesses on the beat.
We are continuing with this priority as the evenings are getting lighter.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

ASB has increased over the past month to tackle this a significant amount of high visibility patrols in hotspot locations has taken place, a report is currently open to tackle reports of ASB in the Neston Gardens area and work with partner agencies is underway to identify and deal with those involved.

    Actioned 01 June 2026
