Op Olympic - Safeguarding Communities
Operation Olympic is an operation being run throughout Brixham and Paignton, co-ordinated by Brixham Neighbourhood Team Leader Sgt Lee Langley.
It is aimed at the disruption to the supply of class A drugs and the production and supply of class B drugs thoughout Paignton and Brixham. This is to ensure the local community is fully protected and safeguarded from the harm caused by the buying, selling and use of illegal subsances and class A and B drugs within Brixham.
We work closely with the local communities, Devon and Cornwall Dog Handlers, the Force Support Group and the local neighbourhood teams to action warrants and perform proactive drugs disruption operations throughout Brixham and the surrounding areas.
This operation is ongoing. It started in November 2016 and so far has disrupted and seized drugs in excess of £130,000
